FF vs Fyeah

To be honest, I'm feeling just a tiny bit lonely and far away from great things. Maybe this weekend will set it right again.
But forget about all that new exciting (seriously, about 50 bands playing that day, 40 of them amazing!) stuff, and return with me to two comfortable spots at the same time, 1996 and The Fall:

Come Out, Come Out.

I'm using the internet and a computer to listen to the first two Cub albums in a strictly random (Possion distributed) order.

If you're in such a dire need of new music/music recommendations/the new thing, don't listen to me and forget music journalism. Skip the taste-makers altogether in favor of the flavors themselves: Podcasts by No Kids, Mt Eerie, K recs, Tomlab, High Places, Lucky Dragons and more

Glacial Pace, please.

Here is a simple gift. Two voices singing in unison. This is the kind of thing you can enjoy as slowly as possible: A true melt in your mouth, a formation of a cloud at the head of a lake, a snowfall, footage of any n^-5/3 process.

The Gift Machine - Borrowed Time and Water

Back to where the internet meets reality: Dr Bird are touring, Best Friends Forever are touring, The Blank Tapes are touring and The Loveliest Band in the World are sitting around writing great songs. They all came together for a perfect night on Tuesday. Sarah mentioned this blog to my face which was worth 10000000 electronic comments. Thanks!

p.s. this guy is moving to L.A.
