Memories are stones shifting under each step

In a little while, it will be completely acceptable to be completely beaten down by life. I too, will reissue compilations of rare records. I will passively and indifferently accomplish small things. I will always show up on time (early) and NOT ATTEMPT NEW THINGS. Yet, the quality of job will always be recognized, while taking into consideration expense and effort. Sometimes, it is more sensible to adapt to an off the shelf product, especially when said product is of high quality and low cost. There will be time, but no desire for outrage or edge. Sensible colours will be allowed. Only natural materials will be appreciated, with the exceptions of extremely waterproof yet breathable fabrics and extremely durable plastics. 'Not being hard on your stuff' is not only an aesthetic, but also a goal and meaning. I will slowly narrow in on Guy Blackman watching and waiting patiently, without depression, heartache nor expectation.

catbird: duncan is a mutual friend of Jay and myself. he has a radio show on CiTR (Vancouver), has edited Discorder Magazine and written for various weeklies. also, totally great great great person/friend. wise/funny/reliable.

Guy: don't worry, i'm writing a little bit about you and a little bit about me, but let's just say that when i feel beaten down, your music makes me feel okay about it. (um, the highest praise?)
