Yacht Rock

Why didn't anyone tell me about this?!? So much genius. I especially love how Hall and Oates are portrayed as a bunch of soft rock badasses.

You can find the other nine episodes here.

After much research I finally compiled a 'Yacht Rock' mix. It's tried, tested, and true and has served me well at already 3 BBQ's this summer. People keep asking me for a copy. Download this tracks and make your own. I called it "Afternoon Gold". Here's the tracklisting:
"What a Fool Believes" -The Doobie
"You Are The Woman"-Firefall
"Baby Come Back"-Player
"Ride Like The Wind"-Christopher Cross
"On and On"-Stephen Bishop "Gold"-John Stewart "Magnet and Steel"- Walter Egan
"I Love You"-Climax Blues Band
"Into The Night"-Benny Mardones
"How Long"-Ace
"Cool Night"-Paul Davis
"Moonlight Feels Right"-Starbuck
"Sara Smile"-Hall & Oates
"Song On The Radio"-Al Stewart
"Reminiscing"-Little River Band
"Ventura Highway"-America
"Thunder Island"-Jay Ferguson
"I Can´t Tell You Why"-The Eagles "The Guitar Man"-Bread "Sentimental Lady"-Bob Welch

Holy shit, wolfking, "Afternoon Gold" is either the best or the worst compilation ever devised. I think I know where jay stands on that matter (ie: best!!!) but I'm worried that liking something that smooth and edgeless can only result in the growth of a massive beard and my dropping out of school to study heavy drinking and afternoon napping.
